Player Development and Sports Nutrition Coach
Gabby joined the staff at Next Level Basketball after a stellar playing career at Central Dauphin High School and NCAA Division I Monmouth University. At Central Dauphin Gabby was a 4 year varsity starter, a 3 time Team Captain, a 2 time Patriot-News Big 15 selection and a 1,000 point scorer. She helped lead her team to 3 Mid-Penn Conference championships, a District 3 championship and a PIAA AAAA State Championship. Gabby also played 4 years of varsity soccer at Central Dauphin where she won two more State Championships. Gabby’s athletic and academic achievements earned her Central Dauphin’s nomination for the Patriot-News’ prestigious Travers Award for which she was a top 5 finalist. Gabby was inducted into the Central Dauphin Sports Hall of Fame in 2014.
After completing her career at Central Dauphin, Gabby earned an athletic scholarship to continue her athletic and academic careers at Monmouth University. While at Monmouth Gabby set the all-time school record for games played at 125, never having missed a game in 4 years. Her recruiting class also won more games than any other class in Monmouth history. As a Senior she was voted Team Captain and Most Valuable Player. Gabby was also presented with Monmouth’s Sports Medicine Award for her perseverance in coming back from dual hip surgeries after her Junior year to have such a successful Senior season. Despite the time demands on student-athletes, Gabby completed her Undergraduate degree in three years and earned her Master’s degree in just four.
Gabby also holds several Sports Nutrition certifications and has created her own Nutrition Playbook to educate young athletes on how to fuel and hydrate their bodies properly.
Common threads throughout Gabby’s career are leadership and winning. She has been described by her coaches as a tough competitor with an extremely high basketball IQ whose impact on the game went far beyond her stat line. Gabby brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the staff at Next Level having played with and against many players who went on to play professionally in the WNBA or overseas. She also played against many high major power conference teams in Maryland, Duke, Penn State, Boston College, Georgetown, Villanova, Syracuse, Marquette and Wake Forest to name a few. Gabby is eager to share all the knowledge and experience she has acquired throughout her career and will be an unmatched resource for all aspiring young players.

“Throughout the course of my college and pro careers I have been fortunate to have played with some outstanding teammates. Gabby Singer, my former high school teammate, ranks right up there with the best of them. She was as competitive as anyone I’ve played with and has an extremely high basketball IQ. She was our unquestioned vocal leader on the court and she was mentally tough. There was no one I trusted more to make a clutch free throw in a pressure situation. I wasn’t surprised that Gabby went on to have her own excellent Division I college playing career. She is a tremendous role model for young players. I would highly recommend Gabby to any female player who is serious about becoming the best player they can possibly be. Knowing her the way I do, I don’t know why you would train with anyone else.”
